Piper Marie has always had an imagination crowded with stories—worlds forming faster than she could write them down. Drawn to the darker edges of human nature, her work leans into tension, emotion, and the quiet horror that lingers beneath everyday life. She loves writing characters who feel real, flawed, and sometimes a little dangerous, placing them in situations that test who they are when everything starts to fall apart.
She believes stories should leave a mark—something that sticks with you long after the final page.
When she isn’t writing, Piper is usually baking, drawing, or watching her favorite shows to gain inspiration.

PIPER MARIE

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. My first illustrated book was made around age six—paper, a hole punch, and twine holding it together. Looking back, I think I always knew this was what I was meant to do.As a born-again Christian, I wanted to see stories that were deep, gritty, and even unsettling—without smut or bad language. Too often, “clean” books shy away from the real darkness of the world. I didn’t want that.
I wanted honesty.My stories may be clean, but they don’t look away. They explore real-world trauma and the lasting consequences of darkness—not just on the characters at the center, but on everyone caught in its reach.I’m excited (and a little terrified) to finally debut my first—well, technically second—book to the world. My goal is to always create stories that confront darkness without glorifying it—and to remind readers that even in the bleakest places, truth still matters.
